Casper begins his first season at Ottawa University as the head coach of the men's soccer program. He comes to OU after one season at Barton County Community College where he coached the women's team to fifth place finish in the Jayhawk Conference. Before coaching at BCCC he was a head assistant at Bemidji State University, a NCAA Division II progarm in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. The year before Casper's arrival at Bemidji State, the team had a 5-13-1 overall record. In his first season he helped lead BSU to a 10-10 record and a fourth place finish in the conference tournament. In his second season at BSU, the team finished 12-4-7 overall and a second place record of 9-1-4 in the NSIC. Casper has been a staff coach for the Kansas Olympic Development Program, in charge of numerous clinics at Bemidji State, has been a volunteer assistant coach at the high school level and was the Bemidji Youth Soccer Coaching Coordinator.
Casper earned a bachelor of science in social sciences with an emphasis in history from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 2003. He is now working towards his masters in sports studies from Bemidji State University. Casper was a four-year letter winner at UW-P and was involved in the Pioneer Student Athlete Advisory Committee (PSAAC), Intervarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF) and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). He has a NSCAA Regional Diploma/NSCAA State Goalkeeping Diploma (Level I); a NSCAA Advance Regional Diploma and will soon have a USSF "D" License.
