League leaders and volunteers needed.
Nearly 500 families participated in (BSBSA) "Beaverton Summer Baseball & Softball Association" in 2006. The word is out "BSBSA has place for every player no matter what age or skill"! From soft-toss/t-ball(ages 6 & 7) through the Seniors (ages 13 & 14) BSBSA provides a positive quality experience our children deserve.
The success of BSBSA and the great experience for the players can only happen with volunteers. No league runs on players or coaches alone. Each years success for your child can only happen with your involvement.
BSBSA needs volunteers each year to make the season run. We need league promotion volunteers, registration coordinator's, Web masters, equipment/uniform coordinators, board members, and more. For each hour a player is playing the game, someone has worked an hour behind the scenes doing things to make their season as successful as any program can be.
BSBSA is not a pay and play organization. All funds generated through registration go towards operational expenses of insurance, equipment/uniforms, scheduling, field costs and umpires costs. No funds are spent on wages for BSBSA behind the scenes operation.
The success of your child's game depends on you being a part of the BSBSA leadership/volunteer team.
We need you today!, Join the BSBSA leadership team to help us prepare for the best baseball experience any young player can have.
Contact Steve Blaha at steveb@emilive.com to find out where you can join in the fun for you child.
Registration grants are given by BSBSA for each active behind the scene volunteer to offset the cost of registration of one player per volunteer.
