WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF FAST PITCH SOFTBALL.....
The Ocean - Monmouth BRATS is a diverse group of student athletes from different high school in Ocean, Monmouth, and Burlington counties. The team goal is to improve their individual skills, learn team concepts, play at the highest level possible and prepare them for Varsity and college level softball. Our manager and coaches experience ranges from instructors and coaches at the local level for league as well as tournament teams as well as high school and college teams. Our manager was the assistance coach for University of Rutgers, Newark softball team, were he provided his coaching skill in assisting numerous college players.

BRATS opt for College Showcase, instead of Fall Ball Games
The BRATS are to play in three-college showcase at U18 level this fall instead of playing their normal fall ball U16. In a bold move on part of the players and coaches the BRATS have decide to forgo their normal U16 fall ball games, and to enter three College Showcase Tournaments this fall. The team also decided to play at U18 level to gain more experience and to better prepare them for next year.
The three tournaments are Long Island Bandits College Showcase, Long Island New York, and Stinger College showcase, Staten Island, New York and Nightmare October Fest College Showcase, Mercer County, New Jersey. Upon completing these tournaments, the BRATS will take two months off, and then start indoor training for the school year and for next season College Showcase Tournaments at U18 level.

Coach D goes to College........
Having a lot of time on this hand, Coach D was selected as the assistant softball coach for Rutgers University at Newark. (he the only guy n the picture), Coach has pick up a lot of new skills both in coaching, gamemanship, and recruitment of High School Player for College softball. Since the season ended in May, Coach D has attempted to watch as many of us play as he could, and now that all the school softball games are over he is ready to play real ball with us....if you want to join the team of contact Coach D
