Kentucky Horse Park
The Kentucky Horse Park is located on Iron Works Pike, about 5 miles north of downtown Lexington. Enter the park at the CAMPGROUND entrance, follow the road past the campground to the playing fields. From Lexington, take Newtown Pike (Rte. 922) north, turn left on Iron Works Pike. From Louisville, take I-64 East to I-75 North, take Exit 120, turn right onto Iron Works Pike. From Cincinnati, take I-75 South, take Exit 120, turn left onto Iron Works Pike.

From downtown Lexington take Main Street east out of town, go straight at the Jacobson Park stop light (don't bear right onto Old Richmond Road), go all the way to (and beyond) the 104 interchange of I-75 (the Athens-Lexington interchange), then after passing over I-75 turn left between Days Inn and Red Roof Inn onto Canebrake Drive. Go all the way down the hill where you will see a tobacco barn on your right proceed .1 mile further and on your right is the entrance to the Sayre Athletic Fields.

Directons - I-64 West to the Gene Snyder Freeway(I-265) North. (exit off to the right)Take the Gene Snyder to the end and take a right at the light onto US 42 East. After turning onto US 42 count 4 lights (with the first light being the fire house light). Take a left at the 4th light onto River Road. (It almost cuts a little backwards to the left.) Travel about 100 yds and you will see Bass Lane on your right with a sign that says Hays Kennedy Park. Take this right on Bass Lane for about a mile and you will see the field on the left as you enter the park.
