The Brampton Battlecats Baseball Club compete in the Central Ontario Major Baseball
League (COMBL) at the Senior Elite level:

The 2009 season officially kicked off with the first team meeting. There was a good turn out of veterans and new players. The managers and coaches presented the team philosophy for the upcoming season based on the players they see as forming this years squad. Also discussed was fund raising, tournaments, travel, new uniforms and other related topics. Based on the feedback from the players in attendance and from those unable to be there, this years Battlecat team is shaping up to be the strongest we have ever had. Everyone is excited about getting underway on Monday Jan. 5/09 for the first Gym practise.

The Battlecats are looking forward to beginning preparations for the 2009 season. GYM WORKOUTS ARE EVERY MONDAY at ST. BRIGID'S SCHOOL, 81 Torrance Woods Rd. The annual Coba Major League banquet and awards night was held on Thursday Nov 13/08 at the Hamilton Airforce Club 128 King St E., in Dundas, Ontario. There was another great turnout with a great meal provided by Charlie Holman and the Dundas Chiefs.

The Battlecats are proud to announce the selection of three players to the 2008 Allstar team.

The Erindale Cardinals are the 2008 COBA Major league Playoff Champions. Congratulations to to all the players, coaches and Manager Greg Cranker. Also to Rick Ellis, Larry Wood and the Glanbrook Grizzlies for having a great playoff run.
