18u Bay Area Blitz: Welcome

The "BLITZ" was formed in 1989 by Tony Butler, in 1990 Mike Helton took the younger Blitz and has Managed a Blitz Team ever since. Mike Helton has been involved with softball for 30 years, his philosophy is to teach and prepare each player at a competitive level and at the same time making sure that the love for the game is the main focus. If you don't love the game, then there is no focus.

We motivate players through communication, being honest with them, having them respect and appreciate our ability and our help. Softball is a game, it's supposed to be fun and never forget that!

THANK YOU IFA & THE GLOWACZ FAMILY FOR AWARDING US THE MATTHEW GLOWACZ TEAM SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD AT THE IFA NATIONALS THIS SUMMER.  THIS IS A TRUE HONOR & WE WILL CONTINUE TO LIVE UP TO THIS PRESTIGIOUS AWARD BY ENCOURAGING INTEGRITY & RESPECT ON & OFF THE FIELD.

We want to thank all involved for hosting the IFA Nationals this year.  We also want to thank the Texas Synergy for our great team gifts and all our opponents for some exciting games.  Congratulations to the Elgin Express for 1st place (we'll always remember our challenging game @ State).
