18u Bay Area Blitz: Welcome

The "BLITZ" was formed in 1989 by Tony Butler, in 1990 Mike Helton took the younger Blitz and has Managed a Blitz Team ever since. Mike Helton has been involved with softball for 30 years, his philosophy is to teach and prepare each player at a competitive level and at the same time making sure that the love for the game is the main focus. If you don't love the game, then there is no focus.

We motivate players through communication, being honest with them, having them respect and appreciate our ability and our help. Softball is a game, it's supposed to be fun and never forget that!

WE MOURN THE LOSS OF ONE OF OUR DEAR FRIENDS, DONNIE BECK. 03/20/12

Donnie Beck, our host of the IFA tournaments in LaPorte, died at his home Monday night.  He had been involved with all aspects of softball in our area for over 20 years.

Visitation:  Friday, March 23 6-8 pm.  Funeral:  Saturday, March 24 11 am.
