Blitz Fall 09
WELCOME TO THE "18U CLEAR LAKE BLITZ"

The "BLITZ" was formed in 1989 by Tony Butler, in 1990 Mike Helton took the younger Blitz and has Managed a Blitz Team ever since. Mike Helton has been involved with softball for 30 years, his philosophy is to teach and prepare each player at a competitive level and at the same time making sure that the love for the game is the main focus, if you don't love the game, then there is no focus.

We motivate players through communication, being honest with them, having them respect and appreciate our ability and our help.
Softball is a game, it's suppose to be fun and never forget that!

The Buddies for Challenger Games Charity Event

May-9 (Sat.) we have a charity event, it's call Challenger League. For those of you not familiar, the Challenger League is the special needs baseball team, they  play other teams from surrounding areas, this will take place at Bayside LL.  It  will be a positive experience you will never forget!
Players will need to arrive on game day in their uniform by 9:30 am.  Games will be from 10-11 am. So what we are looking at is 2-3 hours of a Saturday morning and the results will be very rewarding.

Practice Days:  Tuesdays & Thursdays -Times 6:00-6:55 Pitchers & Catchers only, Team Batting Practice- 7:00-8:00 , on the Field 8:00-9:45           Sundays: 12:45-4:00 (when not in tour.)

Congrats to Shelby Parham and her Lady Jay teammates winning the 2009 3A State Championship. Way to go Lady Jays! Shelby will be playing softball at San Jac.
