BLB Wins Lady Cats Program Tournament

BLB 8 Was Great!

Continuing with strong play in the 2006/2007 season, the Barrington Lady Bombers captured the Lady Cats Program Tournament on Sunday, January 14, 2007 by recording a 10-2 overall record which included two grade championships.

The 5th grade White team took first place by defeating Lake Forest, Buffalo Grove and Bartlett. BLB 6 took second place, defeating Mundelein, Wheeling, and then losing a thriller in the Championship Game by 1 point to Lake Forest. BLB 7 took third place by defeating Buffalo Grove. BLB 8 continued their strong play by defeating Libertyville, Lake Forest, and then Buffalo Grove in the Championship game by double digits to claim the 8th grade title. BLB 8 continues to perform admirably and credit must be expended to coaches Bruce Tinkoff and Linda Mass - this team is playing great basketball.
