  • Jan. 20-23 & 26-27, 3:15-5pm (all Wed.’s:  2:15-4pm): Conditioning Sessions
  • Jan. 28-29: Tryouts
Everyone interested will be given the chance to tryout for the team, however, please consider the following:
  1. Be sure you know how to keep score before Jan. 28. Rules and scoring can be found on USTA.com. Players who have tennis coordination, have played competitive/team tennis, and/or have practiced regularly are more apt to make the team.
  2. Team selection will be based on ability, skills (forehand and backhand ground strokes, volley and serve) and prior team performance as assessed by the coaches.
  3. Team will be selected on Jan. 29 with first practice being held Feb. 2. Cuts will be made in confidentiality – there will be no postings or name calling. Please understand that if you do not make the team this year the Coaches will be more than happy to sit down and discuss their thoughts with you and/or parents.
  4. Currently, there is no Jr. Varsity team, thus, we have a larger roster with the top 10-14 players chosen for each team.
