Coaching Extras:

Coaches please check out the coaching clinic offered through USA Football. Two dates are available for Indianapolis. This event is highly recommended for those coaching in BJFL.

Heat Index:  When temperatures and humidity are high BJFL will monitor the heat index and use the IHSAA heat index chart: Heat Index Chart

Caution 80 to 90 No extra action necessary
Extreme Caution 91 to 105 Frequent water breaks for players
Danger 106 to129 Mandatory water breaks every 20 mins
Extreme Danger 130 or higher Practices may be cancelled
