Cardinals: Welcome

Cardinals are ROLLING!!!

WOW!  I couldn't be prouder of this bunch.  They have been playing their hearts out.  I can tell everyone has been putting in a lot of time and effort into practicing. We have scored 90 runs this season and we aren't even half way!  The last inning of tonight's game we didn't have a single strike out and all but two scored.  We want to keep the ball rolling so we are going to practice on Saturday the 17th.  We will be at Pedigo Park on the Minor League field.  I hope everyone is having a great time.  I know I am!

Two in a Row!

Man what a great win!  We hit the ball really well today!  Love that we got a big lead and a lot of the kids got to play different positions!  Want to thank the Monarchs for bringing snacks.  Most of all I hope that eveyone is having fun!

What a WIN!!!!

Words can't describe how proud I am of these guys! They made some great plays in the field against a hard hitting team.  And came out swinging to put up 21 runs!  All our kids are working hard and deserved that one.  Keep up the good work and we will see you guys on Thursday @ 5:15!

One week down....

What a great first week we had!  I have really enjoyed working with the kids and meeting all the parents.  Hopefully Cade will get to meet everyone before games start!  He's a busy kid! He's in a great play this weekend called "It's a Pirates Life for Me" @ the Capitol.  We should have game schedules & uniforms by Thursday(cross your fingers) and games will start next week.  We will see when our first game is and see if we can't schedule one last practice.  I was informed that there will be no Saturday games.  So you will still have your weekends free.  I haven't discussed uniforms.  I would prefer gray pants and red socks and belt, but I'm not going to push it for fall ball.  If you don't have cleats let me know and I will try to get you some.  I strongly encourage but don't require a "heart guard" shirt for everyone and a cup for the boys. I want everyone to have fun but I am a real stickler on safety. Also please bring a drink to every practice!  I try to bring a water cooler, but I am often absent minded and forget to bring it.  Check out our Links page and work with your children on the drills that are in the videos.  I only have them for an hour all at once and it's really hard to teach thirteen kids how to throw and catch.  Believe me they will have a much better time and it will do wonders for their self confidence.  If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me.
