  Welcome

Tuesday, April 8
Spring season is approaching!

Spring registration is now closed. Game schedules will be available no later than the manager's meeting on April 23.

2014 Spring season dates to remember:

Coach Meeting - April 23

Spring Season Starts - April 28 (weather permitting)

** We are also ready to start populating the Free Agent list for players seeking a team -- e-mail Andy Head at edward.a.head@boeing.com with your name, phone number, e-mail address, and preferred league and fielding position -- see the list below! **

NEW THIS YEAR -- BEESA has decided to switch from ASA playing rules to USSSA playing rules, in order to align more closely with other local leagues and umpires in the area.  For full details on what this means for your team, please bring your questions to the all-manager's meeting April 23, or contact Kevin Mounts at kevin.m.mounts@boeing.com.

The full USSSA rule book for 2014 can be viewed here.

New reclassification rules for 2014:

Teams that meet any two of following three stipulations are required to move up at least one division:

  1. Regular season league winner OR playoff champion (previously, playoff record was not considered)
  2. Winning percentage of greater than or equal to .750 (including playoffs -- previously, the line was .800)
  3. Run differential of 75% or below total games played (including playoffs)

ALL managers must report game scores as soon as possible after the completion of your game.  Report scores to BEESA Scheduler/Webmaster Andy Head at edward.a.head@boeing.com (preferred) or (425) 495-6136 (you may leave a message).  Any game with no score reported by the following week's game will be recorded as a double forfeit.

If you ever need to forfeit a game for any reason, please notify the Outlook distribution list DL BEESA Board Members as early as possible so that we can alert the other team and the umpire.

For rainout information, call the hotline, updated every game day by 2:30 p.m.: (425) 717-6666
