Warriors Fall Short Of Glory
Warriors Fall short of glory last Saturday August 13th at home against the Long Island Ravens. The game ended in a 22 - 22 point tie. The Warriors were down early as the offense fumbled twice for two returns for touchdowns resulting in a 13-6 Raven lead at halftime. With 2 touchdown runs from QB Marcus Nickens and Michael Nelson the Warriors quickly led 22-13. With the game in hand we replaced our starters TOO EARLY. The Ravens kicked a field goal and scored with 30 seconds left in the 4th quarter. Jbriel White (Little Freak) blocked the extra point and we went to overtime. Big Les the Playmaker(7 Catches) recovered a fumble with 22 seconds left in the game. The Ravens saved the tie with 2 field goal blocks in under 20 seconds to preserve th tie!

HE BECOMES THE 1ST RECIPIENT OF THE TERRANCE ANDERSON AWARD FOR THE PLAYER WHOSE ACHIEVEMENTS REACH NATIONAL STATUS, WHILE EARNING HIS THIRD DEFENSIVE MVP AWARD!

Don't miss th Warriors 2005 banquet and after party to be held July 16th 2004 at the Gallery of Events located at 429 n Eutaw Street 21201 at 730pm sharp. This event will welcome the new 2005 players and recognize the entire 2004 players and staff. All former players need to attend. All will be recognized! The events will include fashion show, singers, a hip hop group and afterparty. We will also honor a Warrior Legend, Lawrence P-nut Jackson, as we retire his #7 jersey forever.
