Week of Nov 5

Missed a week, Kevs team pounded Hilltop 35-0 to improve to 5-2-1 (3-0 Mesa) he had 4 carries for 19 yds and was lead blocker all 1st half, had 5 tackles as the backups played the second half.

Jeffs team won easily also against Hilltop 49-18 to improve to 5-3 (3-0 Mesa) he was second leading tackler with 6 but he should have had a monster sack and fumble recovery for TD but just missed both.

This Week Kevs team got beat by Otay Ranch 37-1 to fall to 5-3-1 (3-1 Mesa) he had 2 carries for 4 yds, 1 catch for 5 yds and TD, and 4 tackles, it was 12-7 at half and we decided to stop running the ball, big mistake.

Jeffs team beat Otay 42-14 to improve to 6-3 (4-0 Mesa) he had about 5 tackles and did nice job of plugging up the holes, this win should ensure there spot in playoffs, next week is big game for them as they play Eastlake who is also undefeated in league and has one of San Diego best RB (headed to UCLA).

Week of 22 Oct 09

Kevs team beat Bonita Vista 24-0 to improve to 4-2-1 (2-0 League) he had 2 carries for 6 yds and made 3 tackles. He was lead blocker for most of game and opened up some big holes for TB who easily got over 100yds. Crushed QB on one blitz leading to INT.

Jeffs team won against Bonita Vista 38-0, to improve to 4-3 (2-0 League)he had 9 tackles, 2 sacks and diving interception. Think he's earned his spot as starting ILB. Next for both is against Hilltop.

You can find Jeffs stats at maxpreps.com they don't always put in defensive stats but just type in Chula Vista in school locator and they have info.  Last week he was defensive player of week and week before special team player of week.
