Week of Nov 27 final football stats

Missed a couple of weeks

Kevs team finished against Eastlake losing 25-7, final record was 5-4-1 (3-2 Mesa League), score not as bad as it sounds as Eastlake was beating everyone else by 40 or so.  Kev final stats were 34 rushes 138 yds, 11 catches 153 yds 3 TD, 51 tackles with forced fumble.  He should be defensive MVP.

Jeffs team finished season on sour note losing Mesa championship 28-14 to Eastlake, for whatever reason he got no playing time on defense but had solo tackle on special teams.  They then got upset in first round of Div 1 CIF by El Camino 31-7 to finish the season with a record of 6-5 (4-1 Mesa League), he finished the season with 3 rushes for 6 yds and 11 solo tackles, 22 assists, 1 sack, 3 QB pressures, 1 Int.  Perfect season as long snapper for punts and field goals.   He was defensive player of week twice and special team player of week twice.

Jeff an Kev had first basketball scrimmages today against Coronado and Mar Vista, Jeff didn't get much playing time but when he did get in he got 3 pts, couple of assists and couple of rebounds, his team doesn't look like they are going to be very good. Kevs team had pretty easy day - he had 10pts and bunch of rebounds, they have really fast team but no size.

Week of Nov 5

Missed a week, Kevs team pounded Hilltop 35-0 to improve to 5-2-1 (3-0 Mesa) he had 4 carries for 19 yds and was lead blocker all 1st half, had 5 tackles as the backups played the second half.

Jeffs team won easily also against Hilltop 49-18 to improve to 5-3 (3-0 Mesa) he was second leading tackler with 6 but he should have had a monster sack and fumble recovery for TD but just missed both.

This Week Kevs team got beat by Otay Ranch 37-1 to fall to 5-3-1 (3-1 Mesa) he had 2 carries for 4 yds, 1 catch for 5 yds and TD, and 4 tackles, it was 12-7 at half and we decided to stop running the ball, big mistake.

Jeffs team beat Otay 42-14 to improve to 6-3 (4-0 Mesa) he had about 5 tackles and did nice job of plugging up the holes, this win should ensure there spot in playoffs, next week is big game for them as they play Eastlake who is also undefeated in league and has one of San Diego best RB (headed to UCLA).
