Introductory soccer for the developing player.

• Registration begins in May and ends in July.
• The soccer season starts in the Fall and consists of 6 games in the Fall and 6 games in the Spring.
• Games are played at Learwood fields on Saturday, however makeups may be scheduled during the week.
• 1 practice per week during evening hours, with day and time determined by coach and field availability.
• Individual footskill training offered 3 times per season and is separate from practice.
• Divisions are divided by Micro, Rec and Co-ed
  • Micro - birth dates between 8/1/02 - 7/31/04
  • Rec - birth dates between 8/1/00 - 7/31/02
  • U11 Co-ed - birth dates between 8/1/98 - 7/31/00
  • U14 Co-ed - birth dates between 8/1/95 - 7/31/98

Travel
Competitive soccer for the dedicated player.

• The Avon Lake travel program provides a higher level of competition against other communities throughout Northeast Ohio.
• This program begins at the U9 level (8/1/02) through U14 (7/31/95).
• Teams are selected through a tryout that occurs in May/June each year.
• There can be multiple teams in each age group.
• There are 8 games in the Fall and 8 games in the Spring with 4 games being played at home and 4 games played at other community sites.
• Games are normally played on Sundays.
• 2 practices per week at Avon Lake fields.
• Team footskill training offered 6 times per season and may be separate from practice.
