Astros vs Titans 14-9 Behind a masterful pitching performance from Michael Stucky, the Astros beat the Titans 14-9. The bats were hot for the Astros who led the Titans the entire game. Geoff Curfman added four runs with a grand slam in the 4th inning. Mark Landwehr finished them off with a solid closing performance.
Sunday, May 13
The Astros won a nail-biter as they defeated the Park City Cowboys 9-8 in 10 innings. Mark Landwehr and Jon Mowrey were on the mound for 5 innings each and combined for 19 total strikeouts. Landwehr also helped his cause with two runs scored and four RBIs. The victory was especially sweet for the Astros with former head coach, and RCVL president, Frank Morrow in the stands.
Sunday, June 3
Behind solid pitching performances and masterful defense, the Astros took both games of the 6-3-2007 double header. Mike Stucky and Mark Landwehr each pitched complete games, giving the bullpen the day off. Several web gems were made in the field with the Astros turning some spectacular double plays.
Combined for the day, the Astros scored 20 runs off of 30 total hits, overpowering the Outlaws who managed 1 run off of seven hits for the day.

Sunday, July 15
In the biggest upset you have ever heard of, the Astros defeated the Titians on Sunday afternoon to lock up their title as River City Victory League champions and secure their place in the NBC World Series. In true Astros fashion, it was dramatic until the very end. Keeping fans on the edge of the bleachers holding the Titians in a 3-3 tie for most of the game, the Astros pushed across four runs in the top of the ninth. Striking out former Astro Heath Myers to end the game capped off a terrific pitching performance by Jon Mowrey. With a 130 pitch complete game victory and 12 strikeouts, Mowrey was without a doubt the MVP of the game.
The Astros head next to the Midwest Regional tournament in Valley Center to warm up for the NBC Series which begins on July 29. Talk to your bosses and keep your calendars clear, the Astros season is not over anytime soon!
