5-07-08 INCORPORATED AS OF 2/19/08

 MINUTES OF MEETING:  minutes of 4-01-08 with amendments to girls reg. starting June 1 rst through July 6th w/o drop penalty and motion was approved to file 501C3, the cost is a one time $750 fee 

TREASURERS REPORT    audit needs to concluded for Tom Ferrie to take the position of Treasurer.    Also can not get 501C3 w/o 2 yr. budget (allows federal tax exemption and donation write offs).    Karen Neal make check out to Ellen Hendrix for $70 as reimbursement for class reg. fee.                Balance is XXXXXX

 GIRLS TRAVEL REPORT  some coaches still need to complete risk management on EPYSA.ORG        Player reg. is June 1rst with drop of July 6th W/O penalty       July 19th meeting about reg.          No U-11 girls or U-13 girls travel teams.

 BOYS TRAVEL REPORT  - last day for reg. date w/o penalty is June 26.   Decide intramural times, travel times, use of fields by June meeting (necessary for permits).   

PEE WEES:   NA 

FALL:  fields, schedules, walk in reg. May 10th and 17th  12-3  May 12 and 19th 6-9:30.     Travel meeting already finished    Patty Skwirut will handle uniform ordering- payments at field, do not mail in with reg. fee.    

INDOOR -  finished.    fold up goals ($350) were a good choice, they are still in good shape for next year=  intramural coaches are not use in fall=these goals are to be used by travel coaches only  

 NEWSLETTER - Dottie Canavin will help Patty with newsletter     news letter is distributed 3x per year, spring, winter, fall   Sept 6th information due by August 6th    

 ASTON SOCCER ON THE WEB Constitution up    info about fall reg. along with forms available on line   Kevin will post new teams    Take Kixx off 

POSITIONS TO FILL: Pee Wee Coordinator-  open   U-12 boys Coordinator –open Tournament Coordinator -open 

NEW BUSINESS   Steve Cioeta reports that there are 16 individuals associated with Aston Soccer who have passed the referee training test and are now grade 8 referees.  Aston Soccer sponsored the class   Anna Cermai from U15 Roadrunners  and 6 players from the U15 United   Kevin Cioeta, Kyle Macrina, Kevin Schechterly, Alex Scott, Austin Tasker, Matt Coleman and 7 players from the U14 Bulldogs Chris Faircloth, Ryan Judge, Eric Lewis, Evan Lynn, AJ Newman, Chris Slayor, Chris Schnee  and 1 coach from the U14 Bulldogs, Steve Cioeta.                 Motion approved to pay MVP for new uniform for Sam Hendrix    Motion approved for a $1000 expendure @ Barnaby’s retirement party for Mike Williams, Karen Neale, Tom Morrell, Joe Turner    Intramural Essential Soccer Training in August  $60 per hour     Thinking about no longer dealing with Smart Soccer and host Essential Soccer only--- will discuss at next meeting   training sessions in August-  Essential Soccer does not have enough trainers, so has to be 3 or 4 nights for different age groups.          Goalie training in August (Scott Nixon)      Think about getting an ad booklet together

PRESIDENT REPORT  Spring permits in,   copy of permits sent to Michele McVey     field 9,  no Northley,   try out and practice are through the months May-June  weeknights 5p.m. to 8 p.m.  and weekends 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.    Please remember to move all soccer equipment off fields when finished.   Still working on intramural and skills training camp.   Jim Kerri volunteered to help with any camps.
GIRLS TRAVEL REPORT  PAGS 30 year anniversary, elections, 4 members with paid positions, rent a registrar available    - playoffs- no U9 or U15  thinking about doing it for all teams look for proposal 
BOYS TRAVEL REPORT    June 1 rst starts registration,  July 6th drop without penalty    Delco meeting in April

NEWSLETTER    being sent out-  need labels,  few more copies of reg.,   travel forms will be given to coaches    separate checks for intramural and travel     

ASTON SOCCER ON THE WEB.   Registration information up and forms are available to be downloaded,  Patty will email newsletter to Kevin to be put on web,  Carrie email minutes to Kevin,   copy of constitution also needs to be put up on web site    As a reminder Kevin asks if possible  that when anyone has information to be put on website that they put it in HTML

 PRESIDENT REPORT - Indoor doing well    Tom job well done for AYSA   Fall professional training   updated registration this year   patches have arrived   waiting for permits from Penn-Delco 

 GIRLS TRAVEL REPORT -  PAGS meeting 3/24   No big changes    Use of Northley for travel not determined yet.   Same for Pennel.   Need try out dates from coaches   

 BOYS TRAVEL REPORT - Nothing new to report.  Trophies have arrived  U-15 boys 5 tournaments

 INDOOR -  3 weeks left    need more U-8 boys

 NEW BUSINESS -  adopt constitution at April General Meeting.  Nominations will be taken tonight 3/04/08       Aston Skill Development Camp dates July 28 thru August 1rst  Pee Wee meeting Thursday Sept. 4th     Registration dates   May 1- 17th  from 12-3    May 12th and May 19th from 6:00-8:00 @ Aston Community Center     Reg Fee Aston $70   Travel $75   Pee Wee $50  Family max of $150  does not include travel      No travel forms accepted @ walk ins- these forms should be given to coaches Email from master registary list about try out dates
