WELCOME TO THE 2012 ASHTABULA LITTLE LEAGUE SEASON
The Ashtabula Little League Board of Directors is excited to begin the 2012 season at Cederquist Park. We are accepting registration forms from baseball/softball players age 4, on or before April 30, 2012, through age 16. To play in our league you must be able to prove residency within our boundaries which are North of Griggs Road, East of Ninevah Road, and West of Blake Road. To register your child to play, complete the attached registration form and mail to the address on the form with payment by March 1, 2012.
Below are a list of tentative events for the 2012 season:
Tryouts at St. John & Paul High School Saturday, March 24, 2012
for minors through majors
Major Baseball @ 9:00am
Minor Baseball @ 11:00am
Major Softball @ 1:00pm
Minor Softball @ 2:00pm
Games start Tuesday, May 1, 2012
Opening Day Ceremonies Saturday, May 5, 2012
Team Pictures Tuesday, May 8 – 11, 2012
Reverse Raffle at Grotto Hall Saturday, May 12, 2012
Drive Day (MANDATORY) Saturday, May 19, 2012
Memorial Day Parade and Games Monday, May 28, 2012
ALL players are required to register by MARCH 1, 2012. Registrations received after
March 1, 2012 will have a $10.00 late fee.
Parents interested in coaching, please make sure you write a note on your child’s
registration form so we an contact you with more information.

Summer 2012 Baseball Tournament
2012 Ashtabula Little League Summer Baseball Tournament
Divisions: 10U and 12U
Dates: Friday June 15th, Saturday June 16th, and Sunday June 17th, 2012
Location: Ashtabula Little League--3401 Harmon Hill Road, Ashtabula, Ohio 4004
Format: 3 games guaranteed
1 ½ hour time limit
10 run rule after 4 innings
Maximum 10 teams per division
Each team shall supply 1 new ball and 1 good used ball per game
Pitch Limit: 3 innings /game, 5 innings / day, 7innings / tournament
Entry Fee: $300 per team (umpire fees included)
3-game minimum (weather permitting) Proof of team insurance required ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ALLOWED IN COMPLEX Tournament Director reserves the right to cancel tournament due to weather—full refunds in the event of a total rainout.
