U16 Tryouts Update: The Wolves will be posting tryout dates for the U16 season on Monday, May 27th. Tryouts will be held between June 3rd and June 15th. Please register on our tryouts page so you can receive the latest information as soon as it is available. The Wolves play for the Ashburn Soccer Club in Division 1 of the Washington Area Girls Soccer League (WAGS). The Wolves are coached by Jose Venegas. Jose is an Olympic Development Program (ODP) coach for the district and state level program since 2008. In addition to his work with the ODP program, he maintains a USSF "C" license.
Jose played professionally in Peru. The Wolves and the Ashburn Soccer Club are thrilled Jose has agreed to coach and prepare the girls for club soccer and to continue their preparation for high school and college. The Team & Culture: The Ashburn Wolves are an elite girls travel soccer team that is committed to developing the players’ technical skills and tactical knowledge. The Wolves represent the Ashburn Soccer Club but are comprised of girls from throughout Northern Virginia.
