Club 2007-2008 Tournament Review & 2008-2009 Events
Columbia Fall Classic (U12B, U13B, U14B, & U15B) - November 11-12, 2008
Arsenal U-11B's Semi-Finalists, U-12B's Champions, & U-13B's Champions!
The Arsenal FC traveled to Columbia, MD November 10-11, 2007 to play in the prestigious Columbia Classic tournament against some of the top ranked teams in the Mid-Atlantic states.
The U-11B team met Soccer of Columbia Classic (SAC) United and won their first game 5 to 1. Next, they went up against the HSA Bel Air Blue Devils and in a hard fought game tied them 2 to 2. They faced ABGC United from Virginia in the semi-finals. Unfortunately, the U-11B team lost in the semi-finals in a penalty shootout after 8 shooters. What a great effort. We are proud of all your hard work!!
The U-12B team played their first game against Waldorf Azzuri winning 2-0 and then later on Saturday tied Crofton Blast 1-1. On Sunday the boys beat SAC United 9-0 to end pool play 2-0-1. The Championship game saw a rematch with the Crofton Blast, which was won by the Arsenal boys by a 4-0 score. The team recorded an impressive tournament 16-1 goal differential.
The U-13B team scored two victories against SAC United from Columbia (1-0) and the Springfield Youth Titans (1-0) and played a tough game to tie Freedom Spirit 0-0 to advance to the Premier Championship game against Calverton Revolution. The Championship game saw the boys challeged but they prevaled to win scoring a 3-2 victory over a tough Calverton team. The Arsenal U-13 Boys joined the Arsenal U-12 Boys as Tournament champions.

Cleveland Indoor Classic (U12B, U13B, U14B, & U15B) - January 12-13, 2008
Arsenal U12B's, U13B's, & U14B's Finalists!
The Arsenal FC traveled to Cleveland, OH January 12-13, 2008 to play in the premier Cleveland Indoor Classic tournament against some of the top ranked teams in US Club Soccer and USYSA Region 1 and Region 2.
The U12B team beat Spectrum Soccer School 3-2, beat the Cleveland Whitecaps 5-4, and then tied Cleveland FC 1-1. The Championship game saw a tough remtach between Arsenal and the Spectrum Soccer School. The Arsenal U12 Boys lost its first game of the year losing a heartbreaker to Spectrum by a score of 6-4. The Arsenal U12 Boys joined the Arsenal U13 and U14 Boys as Tournament Finalists.
The U13B's had equal success to the U12B's and U14B's. The team beat Ohio Premier 4-2, they beat Everest 2-1, and then beat the Cleveland Whitecaps 4-1. The boys lost a tough Championship game to Excalibur 6-3. The Arsenal U13 Boys joined the Arsenal U12 and U14 Boys as Tournament Finalists.
The U14B's continued the success of the U12B's and U13B's. The team beat Foothills 4-1, they beat the Erie Admirals 4-2, and then tied Cleveland Select 3-3. The boys lost the Championship game to the Cleveland Whitecaps 3-0. The Arsenal U14 Boys joined the Arsenal U12 and U13 Boys as Tournament Finalists.
