The temperature didn't climb above 40 but the Stealers were hot today, splitting games with the Clarksville Gators and River Valley Predators.  The Stealers cruised to a game 1 victory behind a combined 3 hitter by Kaleb Newton and Colby Stout.  In game 2, Kamden Kuykendall was cruising thru the lineup until he carried a 5-2 lead into the third.  The Predators finally caught up to him and rocked him for 4 runs to take a 6-5 lead before yielding the mound to Jake DeBusk.  Tyson Kizzia extended the game and almost sparked a comeback with his 2 out blast to left field but it wasn't enough and by the time the dust had settled, the Stealers had left the park with an 8-6 loss.

The Stealers will be back in action on Sunday, with times to be announce late Saturday.

The Arkansas Stealers are pleased to announce their partnership with GameChanger as their official scorekeeping program in 2013.  Major League statistics, live game feeds, email updates and automated Twitter or FaceBook updates are just a few of the benefits for this partnership.  You can even sign up for specific player updates in which you will receive texts every time that player makes a play in the field or has a plate appearance.  Even opposing coaches are following the Stealers, knowing that they will have valuable statistics regarding teams they may not have played yet.
