Long Time Phenix Gold/Heartbreaker Player Lauren Mills Inks With Lyon College
Longtime Phenix Gold/Heartbreaker player Lauren Mills has signed a letter of intent to play college ball with Lyon College, a NAIA division 1 school located in Batesville, Ar. Lauren currently plays 2nd base with the Arkansas Phenix Gold. Lauren has been with the Arkansas Phenix/Heartbreaker organization since she was 10 yrs old, she was a member, of the Heartbreaker team in 2005 that won AFA Nationals in Lawrence, Ks the team changed to the Phenix in 2006. Lauren is from Gentry, Ar and attends Siloam Springs HS in Siloam Springs, Ar , she has been a 4 yr starter, made all conference, numerous yrs.

Newcomer Chelcie Sheeley signs with Crowder College
Newcomer Chelcie Sheeley to the Arkansas Phenix Gold this Spring has signed to play college ball with Crowder College JC for this fall 2009. Chelcie just came to the Phenix this Spring and will play this summer and fall, she is a middle infielder, and can also play OF as well. Chelcie is from Neosho, Mo and attended East Newton HS in Granby, Mo . Chelcie is the 5th player from the Arkansas Phenix Gold to ink with the Lady Riders in Neosho, Mo.

Phenix Gold Infielder Samantha Luther Inks With Crowder College
Arkansas Phenix Gold SS Samantha Luther has signed a letter of intent to continue her softball and academic career at Crowder College JC in Neosho, Mo starting fall in 2009. Sam is from Farmington, Ar and attends Farmington HS, where she has been a starter for at least the last 3 seasons, she has been a strong force in helping them to the state tournament, the last 3 yrs, along with fellow Phenix teammate pitcher Skyler Smith.

Arkansas Phenix Gold pitcher Skyler Smith has signed a letter of intent to play college ball with Crowder College JC in Neosho, Mo starting in fall 2009. Skyler is from Farmington, Ar where she has attended Farmington HS, she has been their starting varsity pitcher since her sophomore year, and has taken them to state all 3 years.

The Arkansas Phenix are proud to report that Kylee McKinney has agree to play for us during 2008 season. Kylee is a pitcher from Coweta, Oklahoma. She will join Phenix teammates Allison Bean and Kendra Olinghouse at Rogers State University next fall.

Arkansas Phenix pitcher Kalleigh Chrz has committed to play softball for Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in Miami, Oklahoma. The Lady Norse are coached by Eric Iverson he begins his 12th year as Head Coach of the Lady Norse Softball program. Last year NEO went to the National Championship Tournamentand had a top 10 finish.

Ashley Boyles has committed to play softball at Williams Baptist University in Walnut Ridge, AR. The Lady Eagles are in the American Midwest Conference of the NAIA. They are coached by Eric Newell.

Outfielder Kendra Olinghouse agreed to play for the Arkansas Phenix in 2008. Kendra is from Owasso, Oklahoma and has signed with Rogers State University.

Alex Taliaferro commits to Butler Community College
Alex Taliaferro has committed to play softball for Butler County Community College in El Dorado, Kansas. The Grizzlies are coached by Doug Chance. Last year Butler won the conference and regional championships. They also finished in the top 10 at the NJCAA D1 National Championships

Olivia Andres has committed to play softball at Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri. Crowder College is a D1 JUCO. They are in region 16 and last year appearred in the National Championship Tournament. Arkansas Phenix shortstop Morgan Miller (Pryor, OK) has committed to play softball at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma. SOSU competes at the NCAA Division II level, and are a member of the Lone Star Conference. The Savage Storm are coached by Ron Faubion.
