| Titans,
I spoke with Bob Strachen today and got the schedule for the clinics this fall. I have listed the 10 clinic dates below. Bob has asked that we collect all of the money up front and then cut him a check for the entire clinic. In order to participate I must have a $275 check prior to August 25th. Please make the check out to "Titans Baseball". I will be cutting him one check for the entire team as he requested.
There are a few things on the horizon that you should be thinking about. Monthly dues for the team will be $200 starting September 1st. Dues for August are $100 to be paid by August 18th. We have uniform costs coming up which is a one time fee. Janet Simon has worked very hard to put together a great uniform. The approximate cost is $380 this includes hat, helmet, bat bag, (2) practice shirts, (2) game jerseys, (2) pants, (2) belts, (2) socks.
Remember our costs can be defrayed by sponsors and fundraisers. Once we know the total amount raised our monthly dues will be reduced significantly. We should all be reaching out to our friends and family to get them involved in gathering sponsors and getting kids for our camp.
Horizon Clinic Dates:
August 30th 5:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Attire: Titans Practice Shirts and White Pants.
September 6th, 20th, 27th
October 4th, 11th, 25th
November 1st, 8th, 15th
If you have anyone that wants to tryout for the team on the 18th please have them call me (602) 448-4982 or Billy (602) 296-9434 so we can make sure that they have all the details. If you have any questions about anything above please give me a call. I would like to have a team meeting once we have finished our tryouts . Is there anyone that would be willing to host it at their home on August 19th say from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.? We are signed-up and ready to go for the Labor Day tournament as I get details I will get them out to everyone. Thanks for your time.
