The Arizona Elite Track Club is a member of the Arizona Association of USA Track and Field (USATF). The USATF is the National Governing Board for track and field, long distance running and race walking in the United States. USATF encompasses the world's oldest organized sports, the most-watched events of Olympic broadcasts, the #1 high school and junior high school participatory sport and more than 50 million adult runners in the United States. Running is a sport for everyone - for life. Youth is a great time to start, and the Arizona Elite provides the training and opportunity to compete in track and field events at the state, regional and national level for both youth and adult athletes. Goals and objective's for each member of the Arizona Elite include; - Mastery of the advanced individual skills necessary to participate in competition at this level. - Appropriate sportsmanship behavior in practice and competition. - Accurate and complete knowledge of the basic rules of track and field. - Positive personal qualities in practices and track meets.
