Mission Statement: The purpose of the Ardmore Touchdown Club is to support the football program at Ardmore High School. The club will assist in helping to maintain the tradition, success and achievements of the AHS football teams and will channel its efforts towards the recognition of student athletes in their participation in football competition. The Club will raise funds for the benefit of Ardmore High School football. These funds will be allocated by principal, Mr. Tommy Hunter and athletics director, Mr. Rusty Bates.
Membership: As a parent of a football athlete you are a member of the Ardmore Touchdown Club. There will be no monetary fee required.
Meetings: These meetings will occur in the off-season on the first Tuesday of each month. They will occur in the football field house from 6-7pm. During the in-season the meeting will occur every Tuesday from 6-8pm. Dinner will be available each meeting. We kindly ask that children/players not attend these meetings.
What will members do: Members will help organize fundraising projects, help with pregame meals, plan team and family activities, assist in the planning of team travel, help with field maintenance, attend games and support the Ardmore Football Team in many other ways! All parents, family member, friends and fans are invited to participate in all Touchdown Club activities. The more people we have involved in the program, the more we can do to help the Tigers have an awesome season!
What Committees are we looking for: We would like to establish a chair and a co-chair for each committee. We would like the chair to be a freshmen, sophomore, junior or senior parent. We would like the co-chair to be a 7th or 8th grade parent. The reason for this is so that the middle school parents can help during varsity games and varsity parents can help during middle school games. This will also help the transition process when our senior parents move on. It will keep things operating in a very efficient manner.This is a list of the help that we need: Academic Support, Award Banquet, Communications, Equipment, Field Maintenance, Filming Fundraiser, Game Support, Homecoming, Merchandise Sales, Photography, Pre-Game and Post-Game meals, School Spirit, Corporate Sponsorships/Field Signs, Travel Planning, 7-12 Team Moms, Boston Butt Fundraiser, 50/50 raffle at games, Various raffles, Football Camps.
