As the Head Diving Coach at Arizona State University for the past twelve seasons, coach Bradshaw has made a tremendous impact on the program. He has had seven All Americans while writing and rewriting the ASU record book in all but 2 categories.
With an eye on teaching and coaching coach Bradshaw earned his Bachelor degree in Education (OSU "85") and a Masters (OSU "87") in the same discipline.
He established the current Sun Devil Aqua Sport Camp in 2002 with the idea of providing local children with a way to experience fun in the water all the while learning quality techniques in swimming and diving. Each year since then the camp has grown with the total number of campers doubling.
Coach Bradshaw has had numerous athletes achieve great success during his twelve years at ASU. Some of these athletes either currently work for the camp or have been instructors in the past. These include Pac-10 and NCAA champions, Olympians and ASU scholar athletes.
Coach Bradshaw himself reached the height of athletic achievement by competing for the United States in the 1988 Olympic Games.
Jon Shaw– Head counselor/Supervising Instructor
Jon Shaw has been an instructor for the Aqua Sport Camp since 2004 taking over as head counselor in 2006. An All State high school performer in Indiana Jon chose to attend and swim for the Sun Devils in 2000. Coach Shaw was an outstanding swimmer during his time at ASU lettering all four years, 2000-2004. He completed his degree in Education from ASU in 2005 and currently teaches locally at Centennial middle school. In addition to his camp duties coach Shaw serves as an assistant coach to the Sun Devil Masters swim program.
Jessica Pfau
Jessica Pfau began her diving career in Washington State as an All-American for both the 1999 and 2000 high school season. In August of 2000, she attended ASU and joined the diving team. During her collegiate diving career she was named a Maroon and Gold Scholar athlete for academic and athletic performance all four years by the Intercollegiate Athletic Department. Jessica earned the ranking of PAC-10 2nd Team All-Academic in 2003 and 2004. Jessica showed her skills in the classroom and on the diving board and was named Most Improved Female Diver for two consecutive years. In December of 2004 Jessica graduated Suma Cum Laude with a degree in Elementary Education and an emphasis in American Sign Language. She was hired mid-year by a local Arizona school district and has been working full time as a certified teacher since January 2005.
Jessica is looking forward to working with the team of enthusiastic swimmers, divers, teachers and coaches at the Sun Devils Aqua Sport Camp this summer. She thinks that one of the good things about being a teacher is having the summers off, but the BEST part about being a teacher is having summers off and hanging out with kids around the pool doing science experiments and applying literature to enrichment activities! Jessica is a firm believer that learning doesn’t have to stop just because it’s June… so enroll your child in the 2007 Sun Devil Aqua Sport Camp and keep your kid’s body and brain in shape!!!

ASU Swimmers and Divers are prepared to coach and teach all abiltiy levels. The Aqua Sport Camp takes great pride in the quality of instruction these young athletes provide to our younger campers. All of our instructors have experience in teaching and some of these student athletes aspire to become teachers/coaches. Not to mention they are some of the finest student athltes here at ASU.
