 Program Overview -VAA offers a Traveling Fast pitch Softball program for 10U (Gold and Brown), 12U (Gold), 14U (Gold), and 16U (Gold) as determined by age on January 1, 2008.  Practices begin in April and league games are scheduled from mid-May through early-July.  League play consists of 10-12 doubleheaders played on either Mon-Wed (12U, 16U) or Tues-Thurs (10U, 14U); ½ of games will be played at Apple Valley High School – the remainder at locations throughout the South Metro area. The Gold level teams will participate in 3-4 weekend tournaments cost $195.00. The 10U Brown teams will participate in 1-2 weekend tournaments cost is $140.00. All games are played at locations in the South Metro and many if not all team will participate in a state qualifying tournament, possibly a state tournament, and national tournament to be held in late July. Our emphasis is on individual skills development, team play, sportsmanship and enjoying the game.  Recognizing that individuals will have different skills and needs, a positive environment will be created to foster contribution, accomplishment, confidence and feeling of self-worth in all players.  Each participant will know they are an important part of the team and that their participation is valued.

Season Expectations - Pre-Season 2-3 practices per week Regular Season 1-2 league doubleheaders per week; 1-2 practices per week Tournaments 3-4 tournament weekends; State Qualifier; State Tournament; Nationals.
