Welcome to the Viking Youth Football Association (VYFA). Since 1970 the Viking Youth Football Association has been committed to providing an outstanding youth football program for Antioch, Lake Villa and Lindenhurst. Any youth, ages 5 thru 14 can participate in our program that live in the following areas: Antioch district 34, Grass Lakes district 36, Emmons district 33 and Millburn district 24 that go to High School District 117. The Viking Program is pleased to be a feeder program for both Antioch Community High School and Lakes High School. The Vikings Youth Football Association is a non-profit organization directed by a Board of Directors and coaches. Our program is designed to teach the basic fundamentals of the game in an atmosphere, which teaches discipline, sportsmanship and having fun. VYFA is a member of the The Chicagoland Youth Football League (TCYFL).

Congratulations the the varsity cheerleaders for their 1st place finish at the state competition held at Northern University on Dec 5th and 6th!!!

The Viking Youth Football and Cheer Association is excited to
announce that they are starting a new Cheer Squad for children
(boys and girls) with Special Needs: Ages 5 – 14 years (K – 8th grade)
The new Viking Sparkles will begin practicing in August two days per week.
No Registration Fee!!!
(a minimal cost for uniforms will apply)
The Sparkles will cheer, with the Viking Cheerleaders, for a portion of the home games this fall!! They will also compete in 2 competitions with the Viking Cheerleaders.
For more information, please come see us at our open registrations being held at Antioch High School on February 20th and March 13th from 9am – 2pm.

Vikings Featherweight Gold had an undefeated season (12-0) and allowed only 2 touchdowns all year plus they outscored their opponents 254-12. Way to go Vikings!!
