The Indoor Season:
- We would like to welcome our guest players & their families to the Arsenal '92 Blue Team!
- The Indoor Season will start on Saturday 11/3/07.
- Indoor Training will start on Saturday 11/10/07, at WideWorld Sports Center. Training is from 7:00 - 8:00 AM.
Hi Team:
Good job on your start to the season. It has not been easy getting ready for the rough and tumble action but you have all shown a great resolve and determination, and I know that we will have a very successful year if we continue to work hard, stay focused, and have fun. As the season progresses, I will send you little notes on how I think we can proceed forward because the history of our team is not a winning one. As this is the case, we have to continually remind ourselves not to give in to the moments of doubts, of fear, of indecision.
To be a championship calibre team, we truly have to have a shift in our consciousness and begin to think and act as winners. We have to begin to think and act as a TEAM. In fact, the most common acronym for T.E.A.M is: Together Everyone Achieves More. The key word here is TOGETHER. No one player is indispensable. In order for us to become champions, All of us will have to bring the best of ourselves to the field for every single game.
There can be no off days, no time outs, no momentary lapses... We need everyone to pull together and work towards the common goal of lifting the championship trophy because one or two great players are too small a number to achieve greatness. Everyone must be prepared and willing to step in and do the required job at any moment in time. There can be no excuses, no avoidance of accountability... Each player must be ready, willing, and able to step forward and do her part to lead us to victory.
Let us make it your aim to become a band of sisters, who can trust, count and rely on each other. Let us be determined to stand together, no matter the odds, no matter the difficulties, and after the years have passed, and the memories are all that you are left with with, let it be said that we were champions!!!
