Angels Baseball: AB Headlines
Our Mission
Mission Statement:
The ultimate goal of the Angels Baseball organization is to bring glory to God by working within a team environment to develop what we term "The Total Player". The design of our program is for the complete development of our athletes. The coaching staff holds the highest respect for the abilities & talents God has given each player & commits time, effort, & prayer in developing them to their maximum potential. We strive for excellence in every area of the sport we love as well as the development of Christ like character traits: self sacrifice, teamwork, hardwork, patience, thankfulness, & confidence that goes beyond circumstances. For this reason, every player is expected to read & sign our Angel Creed as designed by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Team Verses/Mottos
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as unto the Lord not as unto men." (Colossians 3:23). This verse signifies why we do what we do and where we keep our focus. Every player proudly displayed this verse on their bat handles during our run to the final four at the USSSA Elite 32 hosted by the Wide World of Sports at Disney World.
"Big Time all the Time" is one of the mottos we repeat in our team huddles. This reminds us that when we give 100% all the time, we can achieve big things.
"Victory" is another one of our battle cries. We believe that we are victorious every time we step on and off the field when we do the best we can, with what we have, wherever we are to please God.
Baseball Goals:
Our goal is that each player receives personalized instruction in a team setting that will ultimately develop a player to his fullest potential. Our program will provide ballplayers with a positive confidence. We will always strive to create a positive learning atmosphere, one that makes playing the game fun and exciting. Angels Baseball will seek to challenge the ability level of each and every ballplayer. We pride ourselves on giving all players the opportunity to reach their full baseball potential. There is a well known fact that the more you learn and understand baseball, the more you will enjoy and appreciate it. Our objective as the coaching staff is to instruct and educate ballplayers concerning the many aspects of baseball. Players joining out program will learn to play the game the right way, which will further enhance a player's enjoyment of our national pasttime. Our players should experience a deep satisfaction as they see their abilities grow and apply them in a competitive environment.
