Seven days into the Elite 32 Angels Baseball continues to surprise people at Disney. The start of pool play started tuff with #1 Stingrays, #25 Rawlings Elite and #18 Louisiana Tigers. The championship round was a different story. We have gone on to beat the Honorable Mention Columbia Heat, #22 KC Inside Sports and Georgia Yard Dogs twice who has to be one of the dangerous teams on the bases. Now we are in the Final four one win away from the championship game. We are the only Texas team still in the tournament. What has gotten us here solid pitching and defense and timely hitting. We definitely have surprised a bunch of people. San Antonio, Texas Angels Baseball 12 U 4th Place Finish....
ANGELS BASEBALL!
The Angels Baseball Organization is home to a nationally recognized 13U select baseball team. The team consists of players from the South Texas area. 2009 marks the fourth year of playing competitive baseball. Angels Baseball competes against teams ranked in the National Top 25 by travelballselect.com, and at the highest divisions of USSSA Baseball, Nations Baseball, and Super Series Baseball.
We welcome you and your family to share in our team's success in the 2009/2010 season. Our program provides fundamental instruction in hitting, catching, fielding, and pitching to players that love the game of baseball. We believe in character, spirit, commitment and teamwork.
Our players have created life long memories while playing national caliber teams from across the United States. There is not one organization in San Antonio that can come close to that. It takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and commitment from each parent and player to make this possible.
Our core qualities are Discipline, Leadership, Sportmanship and Never Accept Defeat Attitude in practice, games and off the field.
