Andrea Thomas, a former Pueblo High School and Tucson High softball player, hit .615 with one homer, two RBIs and five runs, to earn a “top performer” award from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference on March 27. The junior is a catcher-infielder at Bethune-Cookman University -  in Daytona, Fla.
