Think Winterball next!!!
Winterball teams travel to local areas to play the best. Competition is a little tougher, but the experience is priceless. The 10 u to 16 U teams play two large area tournaments (like all-stars) and plus two to three games a week for six weeks.
Last year Winterball 2008, American River played great at all levels:
- - the 8u division Finished in 3rd place way to go girls....
- - 10u division took 1st place in season play
- - 12u division dominated the Greater Sacramento area so much that they played up at 16U level. The 12U team went undefeated and took 1st place in the 16U American division, won the end of year tournament, and then took the local 12U Winterball ASA competition travel championship trophy home to American River. First place! Way to go girls!
16u division took 2nd place is season play.

12U Team goes undefeated in NORCAL Lallapalooza Tourney. Outscores opponents 84-5.

DOMINATION!! That is the only word you could use to describe the outcome of the NORCAL Lallapalooza Tournament over Labor Day Weekend. Each of the teams three pitchers showed complete control of the opposing offenses. The final outcome of this tournament is to determine where each team will be seeded to play during the season. This outcome has forced NORCAL to give these girls the ultimate challenge, compete in the 16U division for the season. Nothing this team likes better than a little competition. Good luck girls this season, lets show everyone what your really made of.
