The American Freedom 16U's Krissy Fontillas was awarded Newcomer of the Year at MHS, 2nd Team All-District, as well as 1st Team All Academic Honors from District 10-4A while playing at McKinney High School in McKinney, TX.
AMERICAN FREEDOM 16U ALEXIS MORTON EARNS FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR HONORS
The American Freedom 16U's Alexis Morton was awarded Freshman of the Year All-District Honors as well as 1st Team All Academic Honors from District 11-3A while playing at Princeton Panthers High School in Princeton, TX.

The American Freedom 16U's Shelby Wilson was awarded Honorable Mention All-District Honors as well as 1st Team All Academic Honors from District 15-4A while playing at Poteet High School in Mesquite, TX.

The American Freedom Gold (Soefje) features 8 players on ranked teams on the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) Pre-Season Polll. Class 5A - Plano H.S/#12. - Erin Lowell (2012, 2nd) and Calli Irvin (2013, RHP/1st); Class 4A - Frisco Wakeland H.S./#1 - Monika Reichhardt (2012, OF) and Tess Soefje (2012, Catcher); Forney H.S./#3 - Krista Williams (2013, Catcher); Burleson H.S./#7 - Hailee Smith (2012, 3rd) and Heather Smith (2012, 2nd); Sherman H.S./#20 - Katelyn Klug (2012, RHP). Additionally, the AF Gold (Soefje) features two returners on the Louisiana Class 2A State Champion Evangel H.S. - Jenna Kreamer (2012, 3rd) and Carolina Sanchez (2014, RHP).

AMERICAN FREEDOM HOSTING 2nd ANNUAL SUMMER INVITATIONAL
The American Freedom is accepting applications for the the American Freedom/2nd Annual Summer Exposure Invitational on July 20-22, 2012. This 32-team event features many of the top travel programs in Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. All games are played at the one, 4-field Allen Station Sports Complex, which is one of the finest showcases venues in Dallas/Ft. Worth. Last year, more than 25 college coaches recruited this event. AMERICAN FREEDOM ADDS NEW 10u, 12u, and 14u TEAMS
The American Freedom Fastpitch Softball Club is proud to announce the addtion of five new teams to its organization. The 10u AF (Foster), 12u AF (Kellum), 12u AF (Fleming), 14u AF (Bond), and 14u AF (Meyers) bring the total number of AF teams to 11. The American Freedom will consider the right 16u team with the proven ability to qualify for ASA/Premier Nationals. The American Freedom chose to strategically grow by adding some of the stronger teams in the DFW metroplex to allow us to continue developing internally younger players capable of competing at the national level. The American Freedom now has grown from one 12u team in 2006 to become a top, nationally-ranked college showcase program. We are currently ranked 3rd in North Texas and 12th in Texas for the actual recruitment of players by college softball programs. AMERICAN FREEDOM 16U Travels to Phoenix for HotShotz Tourney
The American Freedom 16U Team travelled to Phoenix, Arizona for the elite HotShotz tournament. The team played some of the best 16U competition in the country, including the reigning PGF 16U National Champions Worth Firecrackers. While they lost the game to the national champs 3-0, they ended up 3-2 for the tourney and played some great ball before being rained out on Sunday.The AF 16U (Rinehart) plays one of the most nationally-competitve showcase and qualifier schedules of any team in Texas. 16u AF (Rinehart) SET TO PLAY SURF CITY SHOWCASE
The American Freedom 16U (Rinehart) is set to play in California for the prestigious Surf City October Showcase on Oct. 14-16. The AF 16U will compete in one of the top pools against the So Cal 3D, NW Bullets, Washington Lake Breeze, American Pastime, All American Sports-BM , and So Cal Pumas. The AF 16U (Rinehart) plays one of the most nationally-competitve showcase and qualifier schedules of any team in Texas. AMERICAN FREEDOM HOSTS 85 PLAYERS AT TRYOUTS
The American Freeom Gold (Soefje) would like to thank all of the players who waited out the rain to attend the AF Organizational Tryouts this afternoon at Allen Station Sports Complex. We had more than 85 total players, including more than 40 new athletes who tried out for the AF Gold (Soefje)/16u teams. Stay tuned for additional open workouts throughout the fall.
THE AMERICAN FREEDOM GOLD RANKS 71st IN TC/USA COLLEGE PLAYER RANKINGS
The American Freedom Gold ranks 71st in the inaugural Triple Crown/USA College Player Index. The Triple Crown tracks top fastpitch softball programs nationally who have placed players at the college level during the last four years. The American Freedom Gold currently has 25 signed/verballed players, including 16 at the NCAA Div. I level. The American Freedom Gold (Trout) is ranked 86th with 15 signed/verballed players, including 4 at the NCAA Div. I level. The American Freedom is the only program in Texas with two 18u Gold teams in the rankings.

The American Freedom is hosting its organizational tryouts for all ages on Saturday, August 13 at Allen Sports Complex, 1120 North Cedar Drive, Allen, Texas. The 10u, 12u, and 14u teams will try out from 8 a.m. to noon. THE AMERICAN FREEDOM/SUMMER EXPOSURE ATTRACTS 25 COLLEGE COACHES
The American Freedom hosted its 1st Annual American Freedom/Summer Exposure Invitational on July 22-24, attracting more than 25 college coaches who came to recruit players from 24 top regional travel teams from Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas at the Allen Station Sports Complex in Allen, Tx.

AF GOLD RANKED NO. 117 AMONG NATION'S TOP PROGRAMS
The American Freedom Gold (Soefje) has been ranked No. 117 among the nation's top softball programs for 2011. The AF Gold was ranked No. 14 in Texas. The inaugural Triple Crown/USA softball poll was voted on by the head coaches from the top 50 programs. The AF Gold has climbed into the nation's top programs after competing in ASA and Premier Gold ball for two years.
