OUR PROGRAMS


My Grown Up & Me (ages 18mo. - 3 years)
Classes include activities that encourage parent/child interaction and the development of motor skills.  This is a fun way to exercise, develop body awareness, learn body positions and enjoy FUN,   one-on-one time with your child.

PreK & KinderGym (ages 3-6)
PreK & KinderGym is an introduction to the sport of gymnastics through tumbling, balancing, strength and flexibility exercises.  Focus is placed on improving motor skills and body awareness.  Basic skill progressions are used to introduce vault, bars, beam and tumbling exercises.  Since this class encourages independence, children work in small groups with coaches and classmates.  Parents may view the lesson from our observation area.  Participants must be at least 3 years of age and potty trained.  
(NO PULL-UPS OR DIAPERS)


Beginner Gym
This lesson is perfect for children with little or not training who want to learn basic skills and proper gymnastics technique.  Classes are fun and progressive with emphasis on building body awareness and learning introductory skills like rolling, handstands, cartwheels...and much more.  Includes training in vault, bars, beam, tumbling, trampoline, strength and flexibility.

Beginners who have some experience and understanding of basic skills and are familiar with gymnastic apparatus work in a separate "advanced" beginner group during class.  Classes also include training on vault, bars, beam, tumbling, strength and flexibility.  Class placement will be determined by coaching staff.

Intermediate Gym
For the student with some experience and mastery of basic beginning skills.  This class includes skill progression and lead-up drills for intermediate level gymnastics and includes training on vault, bars, beam, tumbling & floor exercise and trampoline.  Intermediate classes prepare students for participation in our PreTeam program.  Class placement is determined by coaching staff.

Boys Tumbling, Strength & Agility
Emphasis is placed on developing body awareness, balance, strength and flexibility.  Agility plays a key role in athletic success and can give players an edge over their competition!  Classes also include basic tumbling skills and drills.   This class is excellent for enhancing overall athletic performance.
 

Intermediate Tumbling
This is a tumbling only class – great for improving technique and mastering tumbling skills.  This class is a great compliment to your existing training and includes mastery of walkovers and learning handsprings and handspring series.

Advanced Tumbling
This is a tumbling only class – advanced tumblers working for mastery of technique on basic skills and development of long series.  This is an excellent compliment for PreTeam & Team level gymnasts and competitive cheerleaders.  Training includes mastery of handspring series, aerials, layouts, fulls and more.
 
 

Pre-Team Gymnastics Program
Our PreTeam program is designed to prepare experienced gymnasts for future competition.  Training includes skill progression on all events and event requirements necessary for participation in meets.  Dance training is incorporated and used for floor exercise and beam choreography.  Eligibility for this program is determined by our coaching staff.  You must schedule an evaluation or speak to Miss Chris (Director) for placement.

Competitive GYMNASTICS: WPIAL & USAG Levels 3 - 9    Progressive competitive program, positive environment and emphasis placed on achieving goals, discipline, hard work and team work to accomplish success as an individual and a team member.  Participants must meet skill requirements necessary for competition.  (WPIAL/USAG) Eligibility for this program is determined by our coaching staff.  You must schedule an evaluation or speak to Miss Chris (Director) for placement.  PRE TEAM PROGRAMS AVAILABLE.

Cheerleading Basics
Classes include introduction to motions, cheer dance, cheers, chants and basics of tumbling and stunting.  This is a great way to learn the FUNdamentals of cheerleading!

WILDCATZ Competitive Cheerleading 

THROUGH AUGUST WE ARE ACCEPTING NEW SQUAD MEMBERS AGES 5 – 17 FOR THE        2011-2012 SEASON!  Our competitive team offerings include: All-Star Cheer, Hip Hop, Special Needs & Individual Competitive. INTERESTED?  Please call the gym and arrange for evaluation and placement on one of our teams.  We offer various levels and squad placement is based on ability, experience and creating a positive and  challenging environment for each athlete.  Previous cheer and tumbling experience is helpful but not required for placement.  Call now to arrange your visit J

 

Cheer Tumbling

Tumbling has become an important part of cheerleading performance!  Learn to flip in the safety of our gym and with experienced gymnastics coaches.  Upon initial lesson, our coaches will evaluate your class placement to ensure a positive and progressive experience.  Classes include tumbling, strength training and improving jump technique.   

LOOKING FOR A FACILITY TO HOST YOUR CHEER EVENT?                           Contact us if you are looking for a host site for your camp, clinic, fundraiser, etc.  We have an approximately 9,000 square foot, air-conditioned facility with spring floor system, matted areas, tumbltrak and other training tools to safely accommodate your needs.  We can provide coaches or simply our facility.  Call for details!  We have successfully hosted events for school squads and UCA sponsored clinics.

Private Tumbling Lessons (All Ages)
In addition to group lessons, we offer private, semi-private, and squad lessons with training specific to your needs.  Enhance overall performance, tumbling skills, jumps and prepare for tryouts.  Our air-conditioned facility is equipped with a spring floor system, tumbltrak, matted areas and other training tools that enable our staff to correct and enhance tumbling and cheerleading performance for each individual athlete! 

Speed & Agility Training

Looking to improve your speed and quickness.  Go from Home to 1st Base faster...Improve performance on the soccer field...Enhance your FIRST STEP and agility on the football field...show balance and athleticism on the basketball court!  Our Agility classes were developed for goal-oriented athletes looking to sharpen their performance by improving their speed, reaction time, first-step, quickness & balance.  Athletes will be placed in the level most appropriate and will advance through developmental levels as they progress.  FIRST TRIAL CLASS IS FREE!  DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE FOR TEAMS.

Registration Information

All students must complete a registration form and sign a medical release/waiver.  A $25 annual registration fee is charged to all members to cover gymnastics insurance fees and administrative costs through the season. A registration form and gym policy sheet with parent signature, registration fee and a tuition payment must be made prior to participation.  ONGOING REGISTRATIONS are accepted and athletes are moved through levels as needed to ensure a progressive and challenging workout at every level.  To schedule a visit or participate in a FREE TRIAL class prior to registration – please call the gym @ 412.788.2100. Sibling discounts are available for families registering more than one child.  Discounts apply only to regular tuition and not to registration fees or other special events or programs.  Please review MEMBER NEWS for detailed information about billing and other policies.
