A.S.A.A. Board Meeting Minutes                                    

May 19, 2008

7:30 p.m. Parish Center

 

I     Attendance;

Opened with a prayer.

See attached sign up sheet.

II   Approval of Minutes;

      Motion to accept:

       1st Paul H.      2nd Wayne L..

 

III     Business issues discussed by Sport / Topic;

 

Treasurer Report;

·        Nothing ready at Rectory

 

             C.Y.A. Report;

·        Meeting this Wednesday

         

Baseball / Softball;

·        No games being played because of the rain.

·        Played 40 games.  Rescheduling 240.  Get ready for double headers.

·        Rabbit Run will no longer be used.

 

Volleyball;

·        One more sign up coming.

·        2 camps coming in July.

·        Uniform meeting was cancelled for tonight.

 

Gym Coordinator;

·        No report.

                    

Soccer;

·        One more sign up coming.

·        Rick Rooney wants to help with web site.

·        Coach’s clinic in July.

 

            Basketball;

·        DONE.  Great awards ceremony.

    

            Uniforms;

·        Soccer uniform is now discontinued.

  

Field Coordinator;

·        No report

 

Concession;

·        No report

 

            Web site;

·        To make this work the coach must sign the right scorecard.

·         Can we make the site friendlier?? 

 

            Cheerleading;

            ·        No report. 

IV        Old Business;

·        Player Evaluations will be discussed next moth.  If we want to pursue this we will need to come up with a formula.

·        Score Board:  Potential sponsor may want exclusive rights for 5 years

V       New Business;

·        Nothing new.  But here is a statement:

                 “It is not if you win or lose, but how you played the game”.
