Welcome to the Alabama Golf Academy
The purpose of the Alabama Crimson Tide Golf Academy is to teach each camper the proper golf fundamentals through our quality golf instruction. Proper golf fundamentals are essential in the development of young golfers into college players and beyond. Our staff is dedicated to helping each camper reach their full playing potential. We focus not only on golf skills, but also academic enhancement by teaching skills such as time management and study habits. Campers are fortunate to receive coaching from the experienced staff as well as Alabama golf team members, who teach campers what it takes to play golf at the highest level. The camp takes place at the University of Alabama’s, Jerry Pate Golf Center. The instruction, coaching staff, golf team members, and state of the art practice facility combine to make the Alabama Crimson Tide Golf Academy a truly rewarding and exciting experience for each and every camper.

The Alabama Golf Academy will be held at the Jerry Pate Golf Center, the home of the University of Alabama Men's and Women's Golf Teams.
Nov. 19, 2004, the Jerry Pate Golf Center was officially opened for use by the Crimson Tide golf teams. The state-of-the-art facility, part of the UA Athletic Department's Crimson Tradition facility upgrades, features a variety of amenities important in developing and improving Alabama's golfers. The center includes teaching bays where Tide linksters can hit out or putt and still stay dry. Players also have exclusive use of the facility and its surrounding putting greens, driving range and practice holes. Video equipment can be used to tape their swings so Bama's coaching staff can visually analyze the swing and show the golfers where and how to improve. Office space for both the men's and women's coaching staffs as well as the men's and women's team locker rooms are also located at the Pate Center.
