Please be aware that anyone wishing to run for next year’s Akron Little League Board of Directors must have their letter of intent turned into the ALLFI Secretary by Sunday, November 8^th, 2009 11:59pm. 

You can turn in your letter of intent in the following manner: 

1. Hand deliver to ALLFI Secretary

The Akron Little League Football Board would like to remind you of a few things: 

1. All fundraising obligations must be completed by the first game!  If you still need to purchase candy please see either Lyn Longwell or Tom James at the field. If you have chosen the BUYOUT option – your money is due by the end of this week.  Please see either Laura Mietz or Christine Johnt so you can get a receipt for your payment. 

2. All necessary forms (Birth Certificate, Medical Insurance Cards, Physicals, and Cheerleading Rules are due by Thursday, August 6th.  Please give all paperwork to Christine Johnt.

Beginner Cheerleader: Age 6 & 7 (Must be 6 by 12/1) 

Mini Cheerleader: Age 8 & 9 (Must be 8 by 12/1 & can’t turn 10 prior to 12/1) 

JV Cheerleader:  Age 10 & 11 years (Must be 10 by 12/1 & can’t turn 12 prior to 12/1) 

Varsity Cheerleader: Age 12, 13, & 14 (Must be 12 by 12/1 & can’t turn 15 prior to 12/1) 

Beginner Football Players: Age 6 & 7 (Must be 6 by 12/1 &  can’t turn 8 prior to 12/1) Unlimited Weight – If over 90lbs, player is a “Striper”, will be Offensive or Defensive Lineman 

Mini Football Players: Age 8 & 9 (Must be 8 by 12/1 & can’t turn 10 prior to 12/1)  Unlimited Weight – If over 110lbs, player is a “Striper”, will be Offensive or Defensive Lineman 

JV Football Players: Age 10 & 11 years (Must be 10 by 12/1 & can’t turn 12 prior to 12/1)  Unlimited Weight – If over 130lbs, player is a “Striper”, will be Offensive or Defensive Lineman 

Varsity Football Players: Age 12 & 13 (Must be 12 by 12/1 & can’t turn 14 prior to 12/1)  Unlimited Weight - If over 155lbs, player is a “Striper”, will be Offensive or Defensive Lineman
