 Ahern Whalen Baseball  History:

1950 - Ahern Whalen was established to allow Middletown youth over the age of 12 a place to play organized baseball after they had completed their Little League career. 

1953 - The Ahern Whalen Tournament started by Bernie Fields and played every August until 1986.  Teams from all over the State played in this Tournament.

1986 - Ahern Whalen joined with Middletown Little League in order to take advantage of Junior and Senior All Star play.

2000 – The Ahern Whalen Invitational Tournament was re-established.

2007 - Ahern Whalen again becomes an independent league for youth ages 13 to 15.

            Palmer Field in Middletown is our home field, we also play at Pat Kidney Field, Durham

          and Cromwell
