Annual General Meeting - September 26, 2009
Come and join us for the 2009 annual general meeting in L’Amoreaux Tennis Centre. The meeting will start at 6:30 pm on Saturday, September 26. In addition to the election for the next year’s executives, there will be food, refreshments and tennis round robins. There will also be door prizes and a trophy presentation. Club Closing Social Saturday, September 5
Our last club social of the summer will be held on Saturday, September 5th. The Junior Social will start at 11:00 am and the Adult Social will start at 1:00 pm. Mark your calendar and be sure to join us for lots of tennis, fun and food.

Club Tournament - August 26 to September 12
It is time to put your money when your racquet is. This year, we will have 5 categories: Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Singles, Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles. All players will be guaranteed two matches for each category. To enter, simply come into the club house and sign up the category of your choice. The deadline for entering this tournament is August 22, 2009. The finals will be played on Saturday, September 12, 2009. Please contact firstvp@agincourttennisclub.ca if you need further information.

Taste of Agincourt Saturday, September 12
This year, based on our member’s suggestions, we are organizing an “End of Summer Potluck Party”. In keeping with Toronto’s various ethnic events, we are calling it “Taste of Agincourt”. Bring your favorite culinary delights and sample other authentic foods from other members. To make it even more exciting, we will feature the finals of our club tournament at this event. Agincourt TC House League *** July 7 to September 1***
We received excellent response from our members for our first Agincourt Tennis Club House League. The new House League started on Tuesday, July 7. We have 4 teams consisting of 7 players each. All teams will have various levels of players (advanced, intermediate and “up-and-coming”). We have named the four teams as Wimbledon, US Open, French Open and Australian Open. The captains for these four teams are: Aurora Drapiza, Harold Wong, Wilson Young and David Du respectively.
