AB players sold over 700 Gold Cards by September 25, the halfway point. Twenty-seven players have qualified for the Power and Finesse Contest by selling at least 15 cards. The Freshman Boys Team and the JV Girls Team are tied for the most sales. Jessica Benelli, Brittany Green, Heather King, Chelsea Reuther and Jessie Wiggins have all sold at least 20 cards. With less than two weeks to go until Blitz Day October 17th, players need to keep selling those cards!

Each year the AB girls summer league team donates part of its member dues to a charity. This year the charity chosen was Mission of Hope. Click on the heading or picture to the left for more information about Mission of Hope or to make your own donation. The team's shirts publicized the charity at each game. The team's donation (nearly $400) was used by Mission of Hope for its Children Feeding Children program which provides a daily meal to infants and children, like the little girl pictured from a recent trip. This summer, Tricia Giglio (below) accompanied a Mission of Hope medical group to Nicaragua and saw first hand the good work being done by this organization. Well done to the players and to Tricia for making a difference in these children's lives!
Welcome to Lee Billiard - our new varsity girls' soccer coach! Lee has been coaching football a/k/a soccer since 1999. He began by coaching youth teams and an U23 women's team for the English professional club, Wycombe Wanderers. In 2002, Lee graduated with honors from Buckinghamshire University in England with a degree in Business and Sports Management. After graduation he came to the US and has held a variety of positions at Mass Premier Soccer, where he is currently the MPS Academy Director and coach of two youth teams. In addition to his duties at MPS and here at AB, Lee is the women's goalkeeping coach at Babson College. Lee holds an UEFA B License.
