College Coaches Skills Clinic June 18-20
Six outstanding head college coaches will host our first showcase/skills clinic geared towards incoming and high school athletes, June 18th-20th. This is 18 hours of exceptional instruction covering all skill sets. Each coach will offer a three hour session with an hour lunch break in between morning/afternoon sessions. Players will have opportunity to get to know these coaches on and off the court and to ask questions about their programs. Please see the attached clinic flier with all registration details. Summer Clinics and 4X4 Tournaments
Kingdom Courts will host position skill clinics every Friday night from 4-6pm through June 21st. Session are $15 each. There is no charge for AZ Sky players playing on Festival or JO teams post season.
4X4 Tournaments will be held every Friday throughout the summer from 6-9pm. Team sign in is at 6pm, play begins at 6:30. Please RSVP to DT at Kingdomcourts@cox.net to reserve your spot. Participation is $10 per person, again there is no charge for AZ Sky players playing on Festival or JOs

Pat Powers Clinic
Advanced Volleyball is coming to Phoenix this spring!

When: Saturday, April 27th, 9am-4pm and Sunday, April 28th, 9am-2pm. I will talk about college, high school, club and scholarships to the players and parents following the first evening.
Who: Designed for novice through advanced level girls and boys ages 12-18 and adults.
Why: Pat's intensive volleyball clinics achieve permanent results by using the "over-correction" learning method combined with --Survivor--The popular king/queen of the court game. Skills development results from actual play, using a unique approachbeyond six-on-six competition. Current skill level is not an issue.

AZ Sky Pre-Season Skills Clinics
AZ Sky is hosting the following Open Gym session for 15-18s. Coaches are assigned to work each clinic but may change due to work schedules. Other coaches not assigned, may attend to meet and work with potential players. The cost to participate in each clinic is $10.
November 7 (4 courts), all ages 15-18 7:30-9:30: Justin is lead Coach: Nick Price, Kate Paine, Norm and Ed assist
November 8 (3 courts), all ages 15-18, 7:30-9:30: James is lead Coach: Tony, Jake, Emmy and Nick Palmer assist
November 10, 12-2pm, 17/18s (4 courts are available ): Tony is lead Coach: Matt, Kate, Gil and Justin assist
November 10, 2:30-4:30pm, 15/16s (4 courts are available): James is lead Coach: Norm, Caitlin F, Ed, Michele assist
November 12, 10-noon 16/17/18s (4 courts available): James lead Coach, Jake, Justin, Kate, Tony assist
November 12, 7:30-9:30 15-18s (2 courts available): Chris Lishko is lead coach, Nick Price, Ed, Jake, Norm assist
(due to several schools still in session, 17-18s are welcome to attend this session on Veterans Day.
November 13, all ages 15-18s, 7:30-9:30: Tony is lead coach, James, Chris L, Kate, Justin assist
AZ Sky is hosting four skills clinics for players ages 14 and under on the following dates:
September 29th, October 6, October 13th and October 27th
The focus will be on the fundamentals of passing, setting, hitting/blocking and serving as well as preparing athletes for club try-outs. Players will rotate courts every 30 minutes so they have the opportunity to work with all coaches in attendance. This is a great opportunity to meet our coaches, ask questions and see us in action. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and warm up prior to the clinic starting. If you are interested in attending any or all of the clinics please rsvp to azskyvolleyball@gmail.com. Space is limited so that we can provide quality instruction and immediate feedback to all players. Cost is $20 per session.
Open House will follow our clinic on October 13th from 4-6pm. All coaches will be in attendance and there will be parent presentations discussing club philosophy and program goals. Cold Stone Ice Cream will be served!
