Fees: Registration fee: $65.00 per player 
Fees include
- a uniform (jersey, shorts, & socks)
- Soccer Accident Insurance
- AYSO Soccer Magazine

Mail In Registration:  (must be postmarked by 10/07/08 for guaranteed placement on a team)
- Complete forms online via eAYSO.org
- Print out 3 copies of your player form per child
- Sign all copies in blue ink and
- Mail with check for $65.00 per child, payable to AYSO to:

In Person Registration discounts: (cash, check or money order payable to AYSO)

  •  Option 1:  Complete forms online via eAYSO.org, print out 4 copies of your player form (per child), sign all copies in blue ink, bring them to one of our above listed registration events and you pay $55.00, per child.

  • Option 2:  Register using traditional paper forms at one of our above listed registration events and you pay $60.00, per child.

  • Multi-child Discount: This discount is available to SIBLINGS only. In order to receive the discount, all siblings must be registered and fees paid for at the same time AT ONE OF OUR REGISTRATION EVENTS.



    Regular Registration Fee = $65 after October 14, 2008 --
    child will be placed on a waitlist and placement on a team is not guaranteed

    Fall Season Player: (August through approx. November)

    • Go to: eAYSO.org
    • Fill out the On-Line Registration Form
    • Print 4 copies of the Registration Form
    • Sign the forms with BLUE ink

    • Register at Registration Event sites
    • See Region Website for dates and times
    • Bring 4 signed copies of the eAYSO Registration Form
    • Copy of birth certificate or other proof of age
    • $55.00. Some discounts may apply.
    • Your child is registered to our Region once you have completed this step

    Spring Season Player: (December through approx. May)
    • Go to: eAYSO.org
    • Fill out the On-Line Registration Form
    • Print 4 copies of the Registration Form
    • Sign the forms with BLUE ink

    • Register at Registration Event sites
    • See Region Website for dates and times
    • Bring 4 signed copies of the eAYSO Registration Form
    • Copy of birth certificate or other proof of age

    • You will be called if/when your child is placed on a team by the Age Group/Division Coordinator (AGC)
    • Your check will not be deposited until we place your child
    • We will make every attempt to place your child as soon as there is space available and the teams are equally balanced
             
             
             





    Registration Guidelines: Volunteers
    Volunteer Form:

    • Go to: eAYSO.org
    • Register as a volunteer on-line. All parents should fill out this form
    • Print 2 copies of the form
    • Sign the form in BLUE ink.
    • Bring the forms to one of our Registration Events or any other Regional Event (before the actual start of the season). A Regional Board member MUST review and sign your form before accepting it.

    AYSO is a 100% volunteer organization.
    WE NEED YOU TO COME OUT AND HELP.
    No matter how small you think your contribution is, it will be a tremendous help.
    Remember: It's for the kids!



    Volunteer Positions that are needed for EVERY team:

    Together we can do it. For the Kids!!!
    • Coach
      • Practices 2 weekdays per week
      • Saturday games
    • Referee
      • Referee games before or after your team's game
      • Quantity of referee assignments depend on age groups
      • Recommend multiple qualified Center Referees (CRs) per team so that you can rotate the workload
      • All parents should help with Assistant Referee assignments
        Therefore, ALL parents should attend Referee training courses (see Region Calendar on the web site for dates/times)
    • Team Parent
      • Facilitates communications between the coach and the parents/players.
      • Coordinates other team coordinators (see below)
      • Might also coordinate player and/or coach end-of-season gifts, if applicable
    • Snack Scheduler / Referee Coordinator
      • Coordinates after-game snack schedule
      • Coordinates referee assignment schedule (i.e. make sure all assignments are covered)
    • Photo Day Coordinator
      Coordinates team for Region Picture Taking event
    • Event Volunteer
      Volunteer to help at Region events such as Registration days, Picture Taking Day, etc.
    • Field Set-Up / Take-Down Volunteer
      Groups of parents to handle the team's field set-up and take-down assignments.
    • Field Lining Volunteer
      • Handles lining of fields during team's field set-up assignments
      • Some fields use Dolomark "chalk"
      • Some fields use aerosol paint
      • Check with your AGC for details on how to line the field

    Unable to Print forms via eAYSO:
    Send a self-addressed, stamped envelope with a note requesting a Registration Form and explaining that you were unable to print the forms via eAYSO to:

    Registration Fees:
    Regular season fees:
    $55.00 if registering in person with eAYSO completed forms at our Registration Events
    $60.00 if registering in person with traditional AYSO forms at our Registration Events
    $65.00 for mail-in or wait-list registration

    Refunds:
    A player who submits a written withdrawal notice accompanied by a refund request form and self addressed stamped envelope prior to the first day of the season is eligible for a refund with the following restrictions:

    • mailed in request must be postmarked prior to the first day of the season.
    • a processing fee of $5.00 will be deducted from the refund.
    • if AYSO National, Section, and/or Area fees have already been incurred (i.e. the player has been registered with the AYSO National Support and Training Center), those fees will be deducted from the refund.
    • if a uniform was ordered for the withdrawing player and the uniform cannot be re-used, the cost of the uniform will be deducted from the refund. for example, if a uniform was ordered for an unusually sized player (e.g. an Adult Extra Large for a U8 player) that uniform may not be usable by any other player in that division and hence the cost of that uniform will be deducted from the refund. or, if a uniform is provided to the player and it is not returned in substantially new condition the cost of the uniform will be deducted from the refund.

    A player who submits a withdrawal notice / refund request form on or after the first day of the season is not eligible for a refund.

    The "first day of the season" is the first day on which a coach is authorized by the Region Board or its delegate (e.g. Age Group/Division Coordinator, AGC) to hold a practice for the upcoming season. Generally, the first day of the season for the Fall season is August 1; so refund requests for the Fall season need to be postmarked by July 31. The first half of the Spring season usually starts on December 1 and the second half of the Spring season usually starts on March 1. Check with the Regional Commissioner or the AGC for exact dates.

    All refund requests will be processed at the end of the season after all cost issues have been resolved.

     

    Deadlines:

    November 30, 2008 - refund request must be postmarked by this date for the Spring 2009 season for the U10 and U12 divisions.

    December 1, 2008 - Spring 2009 season refund requests for the U10 and U12 divisions on or after this date are not eligible for a refund.

    February 28, 2009 - refund request must be postmarked by this date for the Spring 2009 season for the U5 through U8 and U14 and older divisions. March 1, 2009 - Spring 2009 season refund requests for the U5 through U8 and U14 and older divisions on or after this date are not eligible for a refund.  

     

    Multi-child Discount

    Starting with the Fall 2007 Season, the Honolulu Region will be instituting a multi-child discount. This discount is available to SIBLINGS only. In order to receive the discount, all siblings must be registered and fees paid for at the same time AT ONE OF OUR REGISTRATION EVENTS.


    Mailed-In Registration

    All mailed-in Registration materials (Spring 2009-after 10/07/08) and other seasons will be treated as Wait-List (see above).
    NO DISCOUNTS for mailed-in Registration.
