AYSO 428: News: Round Lake Extra Plus Teams Win Week 1 Games

The EXP program started off on the right foot Sunday (4-19-09) for both the boys and girls teams in Region 428.

Both Round Lake Area teams brought home victories with shutout wins in less than ideal conditions.

The Boys enjoyed a 6-0 victory over Antioch while the girls won a hard fought 2-0 over a very solid Mundelein team.

Next week the boys and girls both travel to Lake Forest for their week 2 games.

I cannot speak for the boys, but the girls had a BLAST.

Week 1 for this program did just what was intended by increasing the level of competition in the U10 ranks by pitting the best both regions have to offer.

Next week looks to be much of the same with early reports of Lake Forest having 2, very good teams.

I hope to see some of you at the upcoming EXP games and feel the EXP experience…
