AYSO 428: Coaches: Coach training results
Well we held our coach training last night. 24 coaches attended… AWESOME turn out. We certified 4 coaches to U6, 17 to U8 & 17 to U10. Some coaches received 2 certifications. As it stands right now… ALL of our coaches up to U10 are BOTH field AND classroom certified for the level they are coaching.
All but 1 coach at U12 is and all but 2 coaches at U14 are. The U14’s I cannot do anything about at this point but I am still working on our U12 coach. I have 1 more shoot here…
This is GREAT NEWS. This is the first time since I have been RCA we have had this many coaches cert’ed to their level. If a coach is coaching U8, he is both field & classroom cert’ed at U8. No more of this U12 cover’s all stuff. We are striving to be better than that. Remember… We are trying “To provide world call youth soccer programs that enrich children’s lives” The better the coaches we have the better the program we can provide our kids.
A VERY special thanks to Jose & Holly for running a very professional and detailed training. I am really looking forward to many more (not too many) trainings out of them in the future.
