The ASA Thunder Premier is a U9 boys soccer team sponsored by the Arundel Soccer Association (ASA) and is located in Crownsville, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The team offers a fun and competitive learning environment focused on developing the boys' core technical and tactical skills. For the Fall 2009 season, the team will compete in the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL). NCSL is considered to be the premier boys travel league in the Maryland/Virginia/DC area.

The Thunder is coached and trained by Mike Connor. Mike holds a USSF National "D" License and has been coaching soccer for 10 years. Mike's goals for the boys are to improve their technical and tactical skills, and most importantly encourage each boys' passion for the game. Training priorities include dribbling, tricks, and first touch in order develop each player’s creativity and confidence on the ball.

Every fall and spring preseason the Thunder run the Heat and Ice Cups. Both are a fun low cost tournament that are a great way to start your team's season. The U9 ASA Thunder invites your team to the 2010 Ice Cup!

Looking for a great way to start off the Spring 2010 soccer season? Then come join the ASA Thunder as they host their second annual Ice Cup.

When: Saturday and Sunday – March 20th and 21st

Where: Crownsville, MD (Just outside Annapolis, MD)

Age: U9 Boys Only

Cost: $350 or only $300 if paid by February 1, 2010. (Referee fees included)

Details: All teams are guaranteed 3 games. Games will be 7v7.
