Schedules & Practice Times
You should have been notified by your child's coach/manager by now. If you have not received notification, please email us at algonaclittleleague@gmail.com
Practice schedules have been given to team managers.  They are responsible for giving out their team's information. Game schedules are currently being developed. They will not be available until mid April. There are approximately two games a week. The 1st game is SATURDAY, APRIL 28th - mark your calendars!
April Important Dates:

·       Saturday, April 14th is field clean up. Please show up in the morning. We will be working there all day ~ until the work is done. There are many projects such as raking leaves, painting, concession stand cleaning, dugout construction, etc...  (Saturday, April 21st is the rain day for this event.)

·       Opening Day is Saturday, April 28th.

 

Each family needs to donate a few hours of time to make our season a success! There are many opportunities such as a helping hand at the concession stand throughout the season or getting your hands dirty at our field clean up date.

2012 Fundraising Campaign
Daily 3 Raffle:
Raffle tickets are still available. Please email us if you're able to sell some more. You can drop off sold ticket stubs at the concession stand on Opening Day - April 28th.
Bowling Night:
Bowling Night was a HUGE success! A big THANK YOU to Colony Bowl and all of our little league families & friends! All of the money raised will be going to our field construction & needed equipment for our players!
Changes to Algonac Little League for the 2012 Season
1. Algonac Little League and Marine City Little League will have INTERLEAGUE play. Games will be played at both cities' locations. (TBall will not have interleague play.)
 2.       There will be adjusted age divisions compared to last year. The 2012 season age divisions:
·       TBall: Ages 5 & 6
·       Boys Pitching Machine: *6, 7 & 8
·       Boys Baseball Minors: 9 & 10
·       Boys Baseball Majors: 11 & 12
·       Girls Softball Minors: *6, 7 & 8
·       Girls Softball Majors: 9, 10, 11, & 12
·       Boys Juniors: 13 & 14
·       Boys Seniors: 15-16
·       Big League: 17-18
                  *6 year olds must have one year of TBall before advancing divisions.
We need YOU!
Get active and become a volunteer for Algonac Little League. Everyone is welcome to come to board meetings. We need parents to help run our league. Volunteer opportunities range from giving a few hours at the concession stand to coaching a team to field maintenance to fundraising assistance.
