Fall League ends -- only 90 days until Spring Season!
Hope everyone enjoyed the Radnor fall league. Despite multiple cancellations (due to rain) we had a good turn out of players at almost every game this fall. Regardless of the outcome of the games, it was good see all of you working hard to improve as individuals and as a team.
AG finished in 3rd place in the Fall League Tournament this past Saturday behind Abington and Malvern Prep. The final game against Malvern Prep gave you a very clear picture of what you need to continue working on to get to the next level ... stick work, ground balls, passing, catching, shooting, defense, clearing, etc. You have to master the basics to be able to compete against good teams like Malvern Prep.
Superior STICK WORK is, without a doubt, THE most important factor between where you are NOW and where you WANT to be this coming season! If you want to be at the TOP of the Ches-Mont League this spring, then every single one of you MUST be able to throw, catch, and shoot ... right and left handed ... on the run ... at full speed!
There are only 90 days remaining until spring tryouts and practice. So get after it guys ... work in small groups or HIT THE WALL by yourself. You have to be willing to work on the fundamentals (on your own time) until you can do them with your eyes closed.
Keep your grades up, get in shape (running and lifting), and HIT THE WALL !!

Tim Golder signs with PSU
Congratulations to Timmy Golder on signing his National Letter of Intent to continue his education and his playing career at Penn State University beginning in the fall of 2010. This is a great accomplishment for Timmy, and it's also a major milestone for the AG Lacrosse program, as Timmy is the first student-athlete from our program to continue his playing career at the Division 1 level. Congratulations!
