A.C. Baltimore Finishes Sping 2010 Season in Third place of First Division!

A.C. Baltimore, formerly AEK Baltimore FC (MMSL Second Division), won their first game of the Spring season by defeating MMSL Champions Division side Baltimore Kickers 1-3.  Don't call it an upset!

As the season progressed, however, several players suffered serious injuries and attendance problems caused Baltimore to lose two games 5-0 while playing with just 9 or 10 men.  The team was bolstered by the recruitment of Abdul Ali Bashir, Karama Abdullahi, Dino Kelis and Ryan McDonald mid-season, which helped restore Baltimore's season.  A rematch with PD United, who defeated AC Baltimore 5-0 when AC Baltimore was playing with just 9 men, saw Baltimore walk away with a 3-1 win.

AC Baltimore finished the season in third place behing the Baltimore Kickers and CP United.

This is the last season AC Baltimore will compete in Howard County due to deteriorating field conditions and horrendously poor match officiating.  Beginning in Spring 2011, Baltimore will compete in the Anne Arundel or Mid-Maryland Leagues for the Sring season.
