Carolina Comets
Thank You for visiting the Carolina Comets girls' basketball website! Our AAU CLUB is located in South East Charlotte. The mission of the Carolina Comets Organization is to provide an opportunity for girls to improve their self-esteem, leadership skills and character through the development of their basketball skills. Teaching the fundamentals of basketball while promoting teamwork, dedication, commitment and hard work will assist these players in becoming successful adults. Our goal is to provide a quality, well organized high-level basketball program for girls, ages 9 to 16, in a positive environment which fosters growth and maturity. This instruction, along with participation and exposure in competitive tournaments will help prepare our players for the next level in their basketball careers.

Congratulations to the Carolina Comets 15u team for finishing 2nd in the State. The girls are off to Kings Island, Ohio this summer for Div. 1 Nationals. Great Job!

The Carolina Comets are a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization. We are seeking sponsorships for our organization to support our program activities. To be a competitive program, we require uniforms, equipment, and operational expenses. Additionally, we have kids who need some monetary assistance to participate in AAU.
Sponsorship can be provided in various ways ranging from small donations to full-fledge official sponsorship. All donations are tax deductible. We have developed a multi- level Sponsorship program that aids in the overall success of the organization.
