Welcome to the official website for the Eager Beaver Baseball Association, London Tecumsehs Rookie competitive team for 2008. This is the place where you can come and get all info about the upcoming 2008 season. You can view your schedule, standings, news, and much more, so have a look around, and feel free to sign our guestbook.
We play in the London District Baseball Association (LDBA) in London,

Saturday, April 18
Unfortunately, due to numbers, or lack thereof, there will be no Minor
Mosquito team this season. Minor aged players are to tryout for the
Major Mosquito team, or the Select Mosquito team. We look forward to having a
team again in 2010.
The tryouts for Minor Mosquito, Major Mosquito, and Select Mosquito will begin together, this Saturday, at McMahen Park. All mosquito aged players are welcome and encouraged to come out. For those wondering, Select baseball is new to London this year. It is basically the same commitment and cost as house league, but the Select team will be chosen first, and then the remaining players will be split on the 2-3 house league teams. All games will be in London against North, Oakridge, and Southwest London teams.
The tryout times will be as follows;
Sat. April 18th - 3:00-5:30pm
Sun. April 19th - 10:00am-12:30pm
Thu. April 23rd - 6:00-8:00pm
Sat. April 25th - 9:00-11:00am - House League evaluations and final Select tryouts.
The remainder of the Monday indoor practices have been cancelled.
Monday, February 23
** NOTE **
Beginning March 23rd, Minor Mosquito aged players (born in 1999) will practice from 6:00-7:30pm,
and Major Mosquito aged players (born in 1998) will practice from 7:30-9:00pm.
Indoor Workouts for all Mosquito aged players (born in 1998-99) registered with EBBA will begin Monday, February 23rd, at Sir Winston Churchill Public School, from 6:30-8:30pm. Click on Diamonds on the left menu for a map.
Cost is $2 per week.
There will be 6 sessions in total, finishing up with the last indoor
practice on April 6th (there will be no session on March 16th (March

Friday, August 29
The 2008 Major Rookie London Tecumsehs have qualified for the OBA 'A' Provincial Championships to be held in Tecumseh, ON, from Aug. 29th-Sept. 1st. This will be a 13 team, double-knockout style tournament. For more information, click here to check the tournament website.
The schedule is out, we play our first game on Fri. Aug. 29th,
at 6:00pm at St. Greg's East Diamond, located in Green Acres Optimist Park. Our 2nd game will be on Saturday at Carling Park, 11:00am if we win the 1st game, and 8:30am if we lose. Unless we lose our first 2 games, our 3rd game will be at 1:30 or 3:30 at either St. Greg's, or Carling. If we still haven't lost 2 games, we will play a 4th game at 6:00pm, at St. Greg's, Carling, or Little River Park. The semi-finals, and finals will go at 11:00am and 1:30pm on Sunday.

Sunday, July 27
The Rookie London Tecumsehs played their butts off all weekend, and put on a defensive clinic, giving up only 17 runs in 6 games (54 runs scored), WOW !!!! We came up just short, losing 5-4 to Newmarket in the final, but that takes nothing away from an amazing effort.
Great job kids!!!!
